Cementa AB together with Sustainable Innovation is initiating a forum for digitalization in the concrete industry and in the building process. Digitalisation is happening everywhere and of course that’s also happening in the concrete industry, but we see many one off a kind solutions and applications that doesn’t connect the full potential.
In the project “Sensor-systems in built concrete” we start with the obvious need to measure the dying of the concrete and the distribution to optimize the building process, but we also work widely to see other needs and stakeholders that can make synergies between them and also that can be used throughout the lifetime of the construction.
“Through the creation of a forum that openly can reach through to the many stakeholders in the built process we hope that we can create an attractive and result oriented group while keeping a focus on the sensor systems and architectures we can keep a red thread through the work so participants get a good feedback and results.” Says Robert Larsson manager of the project from Cementa
The project is done during 2017 with the aim to deliver a consortium and forum with a long lived vision and target architecture for the sensor-systems needed through the construction process.
Breakfast 9th of Mars – Done
Workshop 1 26th of April 2017 – Done
The first workshop will be focused on the actual problems and needs today. We try to find the bottlenecks of information flows and flaws of the current systems. We also looks into future benefits that can be done in short terms and somewhat further into future.
Workshop 2 15th June 2017 – Done
In the second workshop we go deep in the technical isssues to find the solutions we would like to bet on that can solve the problems and solutions that we see today we will invite cross disciplinary to feed in other ideas from other areas
Onsite visit to “slussen” 31th January 2018
The construction of the new Slussen in stockholm is something extra. In the process one specific item is interesting. All construction is based on 3D models and no paper blueprints. The digitalisation is also helping out with measurements of the sea bottom around the constructionsite with sonar ships. Join us in an interesting morning with an onsite visit.
Continuing the work
We are looking to set solutions scenarios and a vision for the ongoing work of the forum.
Are you interested in participating join the email list and drop us note on suggestions on how we should continue the work.
